The Plastics Song Contest 22 will be the 22th edition of the Plastics Song Contest. The contest will take place in Sumrakovac, Kucura, following the country's victory at the 21th edition of the contest in Rocktown, Musiclandia, with the song "Filler" performed by Pænda.
Seventeen countries will participate in the contest. Eurovision Republic , Kerry Republic and Ijslandia will return after their absence of 1 edition., while Campre will withdraw after a participation of 19 editions.
The contest was organised by the Plastics Broadcasting Union (PBU) and host broadcaster RTK ( Radio Televizija Kucura).
Hosting Information[edit | edit source]
On the 21th February it was announced that Sumrakovac will serve as the host city of the Plastics Song Contest 22.
Bidding phase[edit | edit source]
- The host city had to be near a major airport.
- The venue must be available for at least six weeks before the contest and one week after the conclusion of the contest
- The venue must not be open-air, but an air-conditioned building with a capacity of at least 10,000 and a minimum ceiling height of 15 metres (49 ft), insulated for sound and light.
- The green room must be located as close to the arena as possible (or within it), with a capacity of 300

Logo[edit | edit source]
The logo is a square with a blue background. The maker of the logo Alberto Aguila agreed with the team of RTK that they wanted an abstract logo. Alberto says that the logo stand for everyone that are unique in a ocean of people.
Slogan[edit | edit source]
The slogan "#underwater" is chosen by the team of RTK." It wants to mean that there is more then what u see. So music is more then what u hear. " ; said Nevena Bozovic , member of the deligation for Kucura.
Hosts[edit | edit source]
Zeljko Joksimovic is a 47 year-old Kucurian vocalist, composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He plays 12 different musical instruments including accordion, piano, guitar and drums. Joksimović is multi-lingual, being fluent in Greek, English, Russian, Polish and French as well as his native Serbian. He represented Kucura before in the Plastics Song Contest 14.
Mika Newton is also a known face in the plastics world. She represented Kucura in the Plastics Song Contest 15. She's a Kucurian singer and actress from the city of Sumrakovic. She's honoured to host this amazing big event in her home city.

The countries that are updated previous edition are gonna be first updated than the other countries. They will be ranked in the ranking of nations of average placement and qualifying chance.
Ariana Kingdoms entry[edit | edit source]
First ARIATV anounced that they would hold a national final ( Ariana Festival 22). There would perform 10 artists with 10 different songs. Later they anounced 4 songs on their facebook account of 4 different artists.
The songs were voted in an internal process. Here's the result.
