The Plastics Song Contest 23 will be the 23th edition of the Plastics Song Contest. The contest will take place in Kolonjo, Maplar following the country's victory at the 22th edition of the contest in Sumrakovac, Kucura, with the song Five Times performed by SKAAR.
As of the 27th of March, 24 countries will participate in the contest.
The contest is organised by the Plastics Broadcasting Union (PBU) and Maplar's host broadcaster MTV (Maplar Television).
If any new country wishes to join, please contact Timon Vanden Broucke (Messenger, Facebook) But in the meantime, you can create your own country page and flag.
Hosting Information[edit | edit source]
On 21 March it was announced that Kolonjo will serve as the host city of the Plastics Song Contest 23.
Bidding phase[edit | edit source]
- The host city had to be near a major airport.
- The venue must be available for at least six weeks before the contest and one week after the conclusion of the contest
- The venue must not be open-air, but an air-conditioned building with a capacity of at least 10,000 and a minimum ceiling height of 15 metres (49 ft), insulated for sound and light.
- The green room must be located as close to the arena as possible (or within it), with a capacity of 300
Slogan[edit | edit source]
The slogan for this edition is " Open Your Mind " . The slogan should encourage people to be more open to other ways of life and music styles. In addition, everyone should be open and respectful towards his fellow human beings and helpful in these times of the Corona crisis

Eligibility for potential participation in Plastics Song Contest requires a national broadcaster with an active PBA membership that is be able to broadcast the contest. All countries with an active PBA membership have been given an invitation to join this edition.

Eurovision Republic change name to Korviet Republic[edit | edit source]
After an meeting to talk about the situation in the country and the coronavirus, they announced that they were changing their country's name. In a press conference , that was stretched of a period of 2 houres due the coronavirus, they announced the news. The Prime Minister says :"The name change of the country is to show more our identity. After colonisation of the 18th century our country was given the name 'Eurovision Republic'. The change we want to show that act as an oficial idependant country. "
